The Invitations!!!!!

The Invitations are done...and I LOVE THEM!!!!

I think they look great and it was so cool to see the complete finished product!!!

Now on to getting them addressed...the not so fun part...
However I think Mom & I will figure out how to make our addressing night a good time :-)

Follow Up

So...our meeting went great on Monday with our rental guy Keith. And after that we finalized the contract and deposit today!!!! Thank you to Mary and Mark for so much help with that.

Mom and I also had incredible luck with Melanie's house. She had so much stuff left over from Kelsey's wedding that I am sure we can make work for us. A big Thank you to Melanie and Kelsey for being so generous and allowing us to reuse :-)

Also, our Invitations are printed!!!! A big thank you to Mary Katherine for being so creative...a big thank you to Mom for helping it all come together and getting the printing done...so a big thank you to Larry and Franklin Graphics is needed as well.

We are so thankful to everyone who is helping us in so many different ways. It is so nice to be able to reach out to all of our resources. In addition to that, it makes it really special for us to have people who are important to us contributing to our special day. There will be a lot of our family and friends through out our Ceremony & Reception. That makes it an extra special event!!!!!

Rentals!

Today we are meeting with our rental company and making some FINAL decisions with them!!!! I am so ready to get that aspect completely nailed down!!!

Mom and I are also headed over to a friends house after that meeting...to see if she has some things we can use for the wedding. Her daughter recently got married so she might have some left overs :-)

Photo Shoot

It was oh so hot on Friday...but we were scheduled for our Engagement Photo Session and we were determined to have it go well...and it did!!! Here is just a preview :-)

100 Days

Yep! That's right we are at the 100 day mark!

We have had our invitation wording and concept done for awhile...just waiting to get ready to print. As we were approaching the final days...we decided to let my Step Sister, Mary Katherine go for it since she is an artist and she came up with something great. We are now ready for the printing process. So excited this part has come together so well. Not looking forward to the addressing part :-(

Also, our engagement pictures have been rescheduled a few times...but I think we are really getting them done tomorrow. It is going to be oh so hot, but I am very excited and hope they turn out great!!!!

Still On Track

We are staying pretty good with our to-dos based on the websites recommendation.We have about 15 To Dos that should be done by the end of July. Plenty of Time :-)

We definitely need to register. We were suppose to do that this weekend...but it just got too busy with Father's Day.

We need to finalize some honeymoon plans that are in the working.

And we need to finish the invitation process. The invitations are already designed we just have to put them to print :-)

Addressing them I am sure will take a while...so we are anxious to get them printed and in our hands to begin that process.

I am also seeing my wedding planner tomorrow so I am sure lots will be discussed and get done then too :-)

The Menu

This morning we met with our caterer and finalized the menu!!! We had him come over to Mom's to see the kitchen and the space he would have to work with. He helped us with the layout of serving the food and a few other ideas. I was happy to get the details more finalized with him and see the food portion of the reception really coming together nicely! I think everyone will enjoy their meal!

More to Check Off!

We are finalizing our catering this Saturday!!!! :-)

And We are finalizing all of our big rentals soon as well :-)

We have been given our couples counceling packets and are ready to start on that.

We also have our ceremony planner...so we can chose what is said at the ceremony and make it our own.
We are almost done with that :-)

Once we get the food and rentals all completed with signed contracts...there will just be the little stuff left.

I think we are moving along...down our checklist just perfectly :-)

100 days is just around the corner!!!!!

Back on Track

Today it was back to work and back on the Wedding Planning Train.

I still feel like things are moving right along. We have so lose ends to tie up...but as far as getting things done and staying on task...we are doing good.

We went to a wedding this past weekend and it was cool to see the things we liked and the things we would do differently.

We have another one coming up in a few weeks and I am sure that will be interesting too.

I think for me, I am of course excited about the event as a whole...I mean its My Wedding Day!!!! But we have a lot of cool little extras that I am just so excited about. I think everyone who attends will just have the best time ever!!!!

A Break!

Well, CMA Fest is here and that means I will be sweating my butt off down at Riverfront and LP field for the next few days. I am so excited that as tradition goes, my cousin Anthony will be here once again.

So until Monday the 11th...unless something major happens or something tiny needs to get done by me...I am wedding planning free for the next 100 hours!!!!

Accomplished!

I feel so accomplished. I feel like we have the bulk of all the big scary things under control. A few of these things we still have some lose ends to tie...but for the most part the following are under control and either completed or 90% there :-)

Shower Me!

Well along with all of my to-dos we have nailed down two types of Showers that will be thrown...in my/our honor :-)

One will be at my good friend, Cheryl's house in August. I have been to a wedding shower brunch that she has thrown before and let me tell you this...it will be awesome!!! She knows how to throw a great get together. That shower will consist of mainly work friends and a few others. A cool thing about that shower is that Mary, James' Mom will get to come into town to attend :-)

The other shower...less details known. Will be a couples shower and I think it will be super fun. This will consist of mainly our "adult friends." My parents have a lot of adult friends that James and I have really come to know well and this shower will be about celebrating with them.

What A Day!!!

Mom and I had decided we would run a few errands today right after lunch. Luckily, we decided to meet around 10:30am...cause we didn't get home til 5pm.

Yes it was crazy but we got so much research done. We bought very few things but it was just what we needed. Basically now we know where to buy things that we are gonna need to buy. It was crazy running around but it was nice to feel pretty successful! :-)

I feel like I have a handle on what needs to be bought and where I need to go when the time comes.

We also made a lot of progress with rental information. We have finally got our numbers for what we want and sizes and prices down and we feel good about the company we will be working with. We will meet with them next week at Mom's to take a look at everything.

Things are definitely moving forward!

Planning Planning and Brain Storming

Last night Mom, Pam and I had so much fun talking and brain storming. I was a bit nervous because I am always scared to share what I envision or my ideas for fear that they are stupid or no one else will get it...but everything went great. 

We got a lot of brainstorming done and a lot of good ideas were formed. I feel so lucky to have access to Pam she has good ideas, likes this stuff and has so many tools and supplies that we can easily make use of. There are gonna be some fun planning parties in our future!!!

About 20 mins before we were ready to wrap things up...the lights went out :-(
