Friday Night Dinner

A lot of things about our Wedding are not traditional. No wedding party...no big ceremony...no big rehearsal...HOWEVER we are having a dinner Friday night.

For me the point of the Friday Night Dinner is so we all have a place to socialize and gather. So many loved ones will be in town...so many will just be getting into town and no one wants to have to hunt for a place to go or rush and get ready for a fancy dinner. So we organized a really fun dinner for anyone and everyone that are in from out of town that want to join.

There will be great food...drinks...and great company. And its all low key and not fancy...to me that = PERFECT!!!

I am very thankful to our friends Jeff and Melanie who have been generous enough to let us use some space in their Bar& Grill. I think our Friday night plans are wonderful and I love our Football Theme. Its gonna be a fun night!!!!!

Invitations

The last of the invitations are addressed!!!! Stamps go on today and they will be mailed out. so happy to have this go quicker than I thought. Now I am just anxious for the RSVPs to start rolling in. I am really ready to know how many people we are looking at hosting. I am thinking 150 at the most...tho I want everyone to be there I am really hoping for more like 130...guess we will see!!!

Shoes

I got my Wedding shoes awhile back. It was a little bit of a difficult hunt because we were looking for style, comfort and a certain height. However, I hadn't pulled my shoes out since I purchased. I had actually been a bit scared of  them. I had in my head decided they were going to be impossible to walk in and wear all night due to the height. 

But, the other day I pulled them out and put them on AND I LOVE THEM!!!! :-)

They Are Officially On The Way

Well its taken a little work but our first wave of invitations are in transit! All our California guests should have theirs soon!

Today went rather well. I was headed over to Mom's house to address my first wave of invitations. She called me and said she was getting her hair cut and I needed to run by there first because Pam had something to show me. So I headed over there...we had a glass of champaign and I got to see what my bouquet is gonna look like. I am so thrilled it is going to be amazing and so special. That put me in a great mood and made me super excited about things all over again.

Then Mom and I went to the house and started working on invitations. I had already seen everything printed...but putting them all together and seeing what they would look like as guest received them was really nice. I am so happy how everything has turned out so far!!!!

Center Pieces!!!!

I ordered the staple of my Centerpieces the other day and they arrived today!!!! I am very excited to set up my first test table and see what I love!!!! :-)

Addressing Addressing Addressing

That's right that first way of invitations will be going out soon! Its time to get some major addressing done!!!
The first wave will go out before the end of the week!!!!!

A Break!!!!

Yep! That's right there has been a very nice Wedding Planning Break!!!!

With the 4th of July being in the middle of the week...plus The Lane Family reunion this weekend...and Larry's Birthday today...we have been on planning hold. It has actually been kind of nice.

However, I have completed a few online purchases for the Reception which I am looking forward to receiving soon!!!

And...most importantly on James' list we purchased our Honeymoon on the 4th!  Happy to have finalized that decision. Now lets just hope James doesn't keep going back and checking prices to see if we could have done better LOL.

       So, we are officially going to Punta Cana Oct 5-12 and we are officially staying at the all inclusive Barcelo Bavaro Beach 18 & up. I think we made a great choice and I think we will have an amazing week and a much needed relaxing vacation!

Registering!

FINALLY...James and I found some time to get it together and register. I so didn't want to...but I knew we needed to and it was so much less painful than I thought. We did pretty good...good team work :-)
